Some Generalized Ravings
I am starting to feel like I have bitten off a little more than I can chew with my goals for the year. Last year, I finished 111 Souls, the Corsairs of Quarterisle, Fides Uberrima, and Justice for the Dead. I feel like I need to churn out at least 4 books this year in order to keep that momentum going, but I had chunks of each of these books done going into the year. It's a different story as a try to complete Gloria Deo, 48 Traitors, Psychopomp Symphony, Waters of the West, and the 2nd in the Mysteries of Havenhearth- none of which had much built into them.
This is on top of trying to get more books moved from the backlog stage to the editted stage. Fides Uberrima is finally picking up steam in that regard, but that leaves Justice for the Dead, Guerrilla, and many other books still gathering dust waiting for me to do some editing.
I've been bouncing around three different books and decided to say the hell with it somewhere in there, and produced two short stories instead. Those are off trying to find publishers right now.
An annoyance in that regard- yet another idea that started off as a short story, but is becoming a novella.
Onward.
