All Aboard the Good Ship Melody Tryst!

 

The Melody Tryst is a fine ship available for hire as a transport of people or cargo. Her crew are equally for hire and experts in the area of scoundrelry, privateering, mayhem, tariff running, or general bounty hunting- violence applied only at their discretion.

 

The Crew

Minerva- an overly intelligent and sometimes self-important Near-Artifical Intelligence system. 

 

Angus "Fix" Ferguson- a Scottish doctor of African heritage who picked up his medical training while serving a life term in prison

 

Squawk- a Pasquatil, a race of chipmunk-like beings with an intuitive understanding of machinery, who serves as ship's engineer.

 

Remy "Marquis" Lafayette- a Cajun veteran of the Gael War who also serves as the ship's chef.

 

Captain Matthew Jennings- a volunteer of the Gael War who recieved a commission at the age of 15.

The Universe

 

The Gael have defeated Earth and humanity's Uulan, Merquand and Pasquatil allies and now rule Terran space from behind the scenes.

 

The few survivors of the Terran Federation military and some political extremists have banded together to form a Resistance terrorist group that the Gael and their human puppets have targeted for destruction.

 

At the periphery of this conflict is Captain Matthew Jennings and the Melody Tryst, a small transport that specializes in chasing down criminals and occasionally working for some. When Jennings accepts a contract to hunt down a Resistance terrorist- a college student named Michelle Williams- he has no idea that he is dragging his crew into a massively complex endgame that the Gael will do anything to achieve.
