For the third time in the lives of many of us, the Grand Duchy of Miraval faces invasion from the Dominion. This time our enemies are coming not to annex a portion of the country or as part of a greater conflict with the Barony Confederation. The Dommies are coming for our entire country and the Archduke is calling on all Miravallians to pick up their rifles and fight the invaders!
A small country wedged between two major powers- the Dominion and the Confederation, each intent on the other's destruction.
A country of vital strategic importance for its vast aurastone deposits, the source for the fuel that powers everything from home heating systems to colossal steel-hulled airships, and its warm water ports in the south, something the Dominion does not have.
Miraval is home to the Crest a sprawling rise of rolling hills and home to brothers Aleksian and Raslan "Dag" Dagenham. When the second half of the Dominion's pincer attack into Miraval sends tanks and an army into the Crest, the brothers pick up rifles and defend their home.
Although not true soldiers by trade- Aleksian is a college student with reservist training and Dag is a hunter, they form a militia made of National Guardsmen, police constables, and volunteers from all walks of life in a last-ditch effort to save their home.
